So I’ve seen this Fortune Teller/Gypsy trend going around Instagram and thought I’d give it a go! I’m in love with this kind of stuff so I thought I’d make it look like my third eye is poking out! Let’s get started!
For my face I used the Estee Lauder Double Wear concealer and foundation because it’s my favourite foundation ever. Then I set that with the NYX HD setting powder. I drew my brows on like normal with the NYX Tame & Fame in Espresso.
Then for my eyes I used sellotape, again, and covered my lid in the deepest black I have which is from the Morphe 35c palette. I blended it out well but I wanted to keep it really dark so added more black when I needed too. Then for the glitter I used the NYX Multitasker and applied my glitter on top of that. It’s not anything special, just glitter you can get from anywhere. I also applied some of the black under my eye and blended it out. I then applied the SOSU deluxe lashes in Holly.
For the glitter again I just drew with the Multitasker where I wanted the glitter to go and applied the thin silver glitter. Over that I used the Dust & Dance silver hexagons in a few places. And for the moon on my forehead I just used some black face paint and a thin brush but it can easily be done with black liquid liner.
And now the fun part, which I got my best friend, Jade, to help me with! she drew an outline of the shape of the eye we wanted and then I surrounded that with a few layers of liquid latex and tissue. Once that had dried I patted some powder on there to make it less shiny. Then Jade got started on the eye. She coloured it in with white face paint and then used a green face paint for the iris. Then she went over the green with a few different greens from the Morphe 35c. She built them up, using light and dark greens. Then she used a blue MUA eyeliner pencil and added some blue parts of the outside and blended them out. Then she added the black pupil.
For some reflection she just added some white face paint and blended it out. Then she went round the outside of the eye with black eyeshadow. It looked amazing! Then for the glitter we used vaseline to draw where we wanted it to go and dabbed the glitter over the top. I also dabbed some black eyeshadow over that too to make it darker. And then I just used some fake blood around the edges of the eye and so it dripped down.
And finally I added the NYX Liquid Suede in Cherry Skies to my lips and over the top I used the NYX Metallic Liquid Suede in Biker Babe.
I’m so happy with how this has turned out! Just how I wanted it to look! Massive thanks to Jade for her amazing handiwork!
