For this look I thought I would do another star sign look and I decided to go for Leo. Leo’s are creative, passionate, generous, warm-hearted and cheerful but they can also be arrogant, stubborn, self centred and lazy. But obviously I did a lion for the look.
For the face I used the Revlon Colorstay foundation and the Collection concealer like always. Then I used the NYX setting powder all over my face. For my brows I just used the Rimmel brow gel to get them fluffier and then I filled them in a little bit with the Makeup Revolution eye brow palette.
For my eyes I used a piece of sellotape but put it pointing higher up than I normally would. I used black eyeshadow to draw on the cat eye and blended it out. Then I put gold glitter shadow from the Lick and Lash 35k palette over my lid. I lined the top of my eyelashes with the NYX black liquid liner and kept it going past my inner corner. I applied the Tatti Lashes in TL31, one of my favourite pairs of lashes by far! Then I brought the black eyeshadow under my eye and blended it out a little and and carried it on curving under my eye. I also lined my bottom lash line with the NYX white eyeliner and carried it on between the two black lines.
For my face I used the Lick and Lash 35k palette. I first went in with a light brown, similar to a contour colour and used it in the parts I would normally use contour. So on my cheeks, forehead and jaw. I did it on my nose too but quite a lot darker than I would normally do. I then drew the lines on my forehead with the lighter brown and blended it out a lot. Then I went in with a darker brown and a thinner brush and added the bits of detail. I also used that shade to colour in the end of my nose. For my top lip I used the Rimmel black liquid lipstick and used the NYX black eyeliner to draw from my lip to my nose. For my bottom lip I used the Maybelline Colorsensational in Velvet Beige because it has quite a nice pink tint to it.
And lastly I just used the silver highlighter from the Makeup Revolution Ultra Cool Glow palette on my cheeks and the inner corner of my eyes. I put a few stripes of brown and black on my chest too but my choker mostly covers it up. The choker is from Pretty Little Thing.
And that’s the look finished! I hope you like this simple lion/cat look, you don’t need much to create this, just makeup!
