It’s Disney Princess time! I thought what if Belle and the Beast didn’t get on as well as we thought? I love the premise of using Disney Princesses for gore, my inspiration for this was obviously Glam & Gore! Let’s get started!
I started off with the liquid latex because I wanted to stick it to clean skin. First I drew the lines where I wanted the cuts to go using a white eyeliner. Then I went over them with a layer on Mehron liquid latex. Before it dried I covered that with thin pieces of tissue. I didn’t want to use thick pieces because I wanted the edges to be as unnoticeable as possible. I did this another 3 times and then used a hair dryer so that they would dry.
Then I started on my base. I used the Revlon Colorstay foundation, Estee Lauder concealer on my blemishes and Collection concealer under my eyes. I set that then with the NYX HD finishing powder. For my brows I used the same NYX Tame and Fame like normal but I did them thinner than I usually do because Disney princess eyebrows are super thin.
For my eyes I literally just wanted one simple colour so I used the Modern Renaissance palette and used Warm Taupe over all of my eye and then used a tiny bit of Cyprus Umber in my crease. Then I just lined my eyes with eyeliner and did a little wing but nothing over the top. Then I applied the SOSU Holly lashes because they’re my favourite lashes ever!
For my contour I used the Makeup Revolution contour kit and the Ultra Pro Glow highlighter palette too and used a warm gold colour on my cheeks, nose and cupid’s bow. And for my lips I didn’t want much of a colour so I put some of the NYX lip cream in San Paolo on with my finger so it wasn’t really pigmented. Then I applied a NYX lip gloss over the top of that for some sheen.
Now back onto the cuts. I used a pair of little nail scissors to cut up each one of the cuts very carefully. Then I coloured the inside with red eyeshadow and added some fake blood going through the cuts. I also dabbed some purple and red eyeshadow around the openings to make it look more irritated. Then I dabbed some fake blood around too and poured some on so it was dripping down my face.
And lastly for my hair I put half of it up in a ponytail but left my fringe out. Then I used one of them bun things (?) to make a bun on top of my head. I curled all of my hair and then pinned my fringe to the back of my head so it hangs nicely. Then I, well my mum, wrapped the yellow ribbon around my bun to finish off Belle’s look. This is great if you don’t want to buy a full costume. I then found the fake rose in my mum’s room! And that’s it!
I hope you guys like this look, it was one of my favourites to create and it’s simple but very effective!
