31 Days of Halloween 2018, Make-up

Slytherin Soul (2/31)

This look is inspired by none other than the queen Keilidh MUA. She is absolutely killing it at the moment and I can’t wait to see what she does this month. She’s done this look quite recently and I fell in love immediately. Mine doesn’t look much like hers but I thought I’d give it a go!

(Disclaimer- Eyes, hair colour and lighting have been edited but the makeup hasn’t been changed)

For my face I first used the NYX white eyeliner to draw where I wanted the mask/snake skin to be. Then I did my face around it like normal. I used the Maybelline Fit Me concealer for my blemishes and then the Fenty Beauty foundation. And to set all of that I used the NYX HD Finishing Powder.

Then I started on the mask. I used a green face paint from the brand Fas, which is really weird. It’s quite thick and gloopy and dries really hard and shiny. It’s not the best but it actually worked quite well for this look. It also peels off too which is weird, so don’t make my mistake and put it on your eyebrows…

I then used black snazaroo face paint to fill in my eyebrows. In my crease I went in with the black from the Morphe 35c palette which is the darkest black I own. I then cut the crease using the P.Louise Rumour Base. Over the top of that I applied the yellow from the Morphe palette. I then used NYX black liquid liner to apply a thin wing and put black eyeshadow under my eyes too. I applied the SOSU lashes in Dubai and added some mascara.

Then I used the same black eyeshadow as before and applied it on the green, all around the edge of the mask, deepening it. I blended it out further into my face too. With a NYX white liquid liner I did a bit of detail on some parts of the outside of the mask and drew a few little dots on the inside too. And with a dark brown eyeshadow I lightly drew around the outside of the mask so it looked like my skin was coming away slightly. And for a last finishing touch I applied some gold face paint on my brow bone to highlight and used the Make-up Revolution baked highlighter in Golden Lights on the mask to make it look glossy.

And finally for my lips I used the NYX liquid suede in Sandstorm and then the NYX lipgloss over the top.

And that’s the look complete! I hope you enjoyed this look, it turned out nothing like I thought it would but I still like the end result anyways!
