31 Days of Halloween 2018, Make-up

Black Widow (16/31)

I’ve seen this look going around so much this Halloween so I thought it’d try it out! It’s quite a bit harder than it looks, especially because I’m not great at drawing realism but I tried my best! This look is inspired by Marley!

Let’s get started!

I started with the L’Oreal Infallible primer and then used the Maybelline concealer for my blemishes. I used the Fenty Beauty foundation all over my face and then the Collection Lasting Perfection concealer under my eyes. I topped it all off with the NYX HD Finishing Powder.

For my brows I used the NYX Tame & Fame brow pomade and carved them out with the P.Louise Rumour Base.

For my eyes I used a brown shade from the Morphe 35c palette in my crease and blended it out towards my brow. I then patted on the black eyeshadow over my lid and blended it into the crease. I then applied some black eyeliner and the YIWU lashes and mascara.

I then used the black Snazaroo face paint to paint the spider legs coming from my eye and mouth. I also used some of the white Smiffys face paint to paint some highlights. I used a little bit of grey eyeshadow on a thin brush to draw the shadows of the legs too and then blended them out slightly. For my lips I used the NYX liquid suede in Cherry Skies and dabbed it all over my lips with a beauty blender. I then painted the middle of my lips with the black face paint.

And just to finish off my face I used the Sleek contour kit on my cheeks and the Makeup Revolution baked bronzer in Ready to Go. I also used the MuR highlighter palette to highlight.

And that’s the look finished! It sounds so simple but it was so hard to draw these legs! And trying to make it actually look 3D is a whole other ball game! I don’t think it turned out too bad though!

If you haven’t already, check out yesterdays look! Dark Elf (15/31)

Stay Spooky,
