I’ve wanted to do an Annabelle look for a while but didn’t think I’d be able to pull it off. So this year I’ve tried and finally did it! I think this look is super creepy and hardly looks like me, which I guess is a good thing! I think this would be great for Halloween!
The first thing I did was block my eyebrows which is a completely new thing for me this year! I used Pritt Stick and completely covered all of my eyebrow hairs with glue. I then used an eyebrow brush to smooth all of the hairs upwards. When I was happy that they were flat I waited for the glue to dry completely before adding another layer and dragging my hairs upwards. I repeated this about 4-5 whilst waiting for them to dry in between. This is was the first time I tried and each time I’ve done it I get better and better so practice makes perfect!
I then started with my face. I used the Revlon Colorstay foundation all over my face as I wanted it to be a bit paler than my usual skin colour. Then using a pale brown eyeshadow I started by drawing on my face where I wanted all the black lines to be. I drew the lines around my eyes and then using a black eyeshadow from the Morphe 35c palette I deepened the hollows in my eyes. I used white Snazaroo face paint underneath my eyes to make them look bigger and used the Nyx white pencil liner to line my waterline. I used a little brown eyeshadow underneath the white to look like a normal eye and used a black face paint to draw a few little lashes. I then applied the Nessychoice lashes in 09.
I then used the Snazaroo black face paint to draw on my eyebrows and over the lines that I drew before. I also used it under my chin and up each side of my face to make it look like a different shape. I used a mixture of white face paint and white eyeshaodw to highlight all the areas to make it look like plastic. I also used a little bit of peach eyeshadow from the Morphe 35n palette for some blush. For my lips I used the Nyx Liquid Suede in Cherry Skies with white face paint as a highlight. I also used black eyeshadow to add shadows in the corners of my lips.
Lastly for my neck I used a black face paint to draw the line going all the way around my neck and then drew on either side to make it look thinner. I used brown, black and white eyeshadow to shadow and highlight around it.
And that’s the look finished! I almost gave up with this look because it just wasn’t turning out how I wanted. But I got through it and I’m actually really happy with the outcome!
