One of the first skulls I’ve painted for this years Halloween! This is inspired by the lovely Fancy Flutie on Instagram! Her work is crazy good!
Let’s get started!
I first started with white face paint to draw the outline of everything on my face and chest. I then blocked out the one eyebrow using Pritt Stick. For the normal part of my face I used a mixture of Fenty foundation and the Nyx Stay Matte Not Flat foundation to match my tan. I then used the Collection concealer under my eye to highlight. I used the Makeup Revolution eyebrow palette on my brow too. I used the P.Louise eyeshadow base and then used the mint shade from the Morphe 35c palette to blend up towards my eyebrow. In my crease I used the deeper teal shade from the same palette to deepen the crease.
I then cut the crease with the P.Louise base and applied a silver from the Lick and Lash 35k palette over the top. I also used the teal shade under my eye too. I applied Nyx liquid liner and applied the Nessychoice 06 lashes. I used some Makeup Revolution bronzer and the green highlighter from the Makeup Revolution Cool Glo palette in the corner of my eye.
To get this green shade I mixed together the grass green and turquoise Snazaroo paints I have which created this almost mint green. I used this first to colour in all of the bones and the skull part of my face. I then went around the whole outline of everything with black Snazaroo face paint. I filled in the eye hole, nose hole and cheek hole with black too. I then painted my teeth with white face paint.
I used black eyehshadow to shade where the cracks are to create some depth and to make the bones look a bit more 3D. I also added some little lines on the face for the skull and outlined the teeth with black face paint. I also used some dark green eyeshadow to add more depth to some areas. I used the white facepaint to add highlights, on the bones and on my cheekbone and browbone. I also used a little bit of the green highlighter on a few of the bones and on my cheekbone.
And that’s the look finished! I was really happy with how this turned out and don’t forget to check out the inspiration Fancy Flutie!
