31 Days of Halloween 2019, Make-up

Steampunk Pin-up (29/31)

This is one of my favourites from the whole of Halloween! I didn’t want to take this makeup off when it was on and I’m beyond pleased with how it’s turned out! Inspired by the beaut munstersnmakeup!

For my face I used a mixture of the Revlon Colorstay 150 and Nyx Stay Matte but not Flat in Nude Beige because to make it a little more tanned. I used the Collection Lasting Perfection concealer under my eyes to highlight. I then set all of that with the Rimmel Stay Matte translucent powder. For my brows I used the Makeup Revolution Ultra Brow palette and carved out my brow with the P.Louise base.

For my eyeshadow I used shades from the Lick and Lash 35k palette. I used a brow shade in my crease and then blended it up towards my brow and out to create the wing. I then used the black in my crease to deepen it. I cut my crease with the P.Louise base and used the bright gold shade from the palette over the top. I also used the black and brown shades under my eyes. I applied the Nessychoice lashes in 05 and a little mascara on my bottom lashes.

For my face I used the Makeup Revolution bronzer and the middle shade of highlighter from the Makeup Revolution ultra glow palette. I then applied the Nyx Liquid Suede in Club Hopper to my lips.

For the detail on my chest I tried so long to make the perfect brown shade. Eventually I mixed orange face paint with a little bit of black Snazaroo paint and a little bit of yellow Snazaroo paint too. And it created this colour! I painted each of the brown sections first and added a few layers. I then used white face paint to draw the cogs and lines in between the sections. I did some lines on my face too. I then filled in between all of the sections with black Snazaroo face paint and drew the outlines on my face, filling it in. To add some extra lines I used the Snazaroo turquoise face paint and a dark purple. I also added some little bolts on my face and shoulders using gold face paint.

To finish off my chest I used a dark gold shade from the Lick and Lash 35k palette to create a shadow around the sections. I used a mixture of the lighter gold shade and a deep gold highlighter from the Makeup Revolution ultra glow palette to cover the whole of the brown sections making it look more like metal.

And that’s the look finished! This look took me about 5-6 hours to complete fully but it’s for sure one of my favourites so far! Let me know what you think and don’t forget to check out yesterdays look – Medusa (28/31)

Stay Spooky!
