Goodbye 2019!

Hey guys, it’s been a while! The last I posted was all of my Halloween looks and even before then I haven’t done a chatty post in a while. A lot has happened in the last half of this year, some of it bad and some of it good but I thought I’d do a roundup of my whole 2019 and then I can get started on 2020!

My two friends came out to visit at the start of the year before carrying on to Australia for a year! I showed them around Bangkok and a few days in Chiang Mai! We saw lots of temples and I went to Maerim Elephant Sanctuary for the 3rd time!

We worked a lot of February but we also took a trip up Doi Inthanon which turned into one of my favourite places in Thailand! And we got these beautiful pictures!

In March we had to move house and we found a great place with lots of room. Debbie also came back from Phuket and brought 5 little bundles of joy with her! I love these kitties to pieces and miss them loads!

In April we had a huuuuge storm that wrecked a lot of our house. Luckily our animals were fine, just a few repairs that needed to be done. It was quite scary though, the biggest storm I’ve ever seen! We also had my friend Amira come out to visit us before her trip to Bali and we explored Chiang Mai and took our first trip to sticky waterfall.

In May we took an impromptu trip to Pai and I fell in love with the place. Everywhere in Pai is picturesque and the people there were great! It was also on my 2019 bucket list so I’ve checked that off!

In June we came home for two weeks to see friends and family which was amazing and then when we came back we just explored a lot of Chiang Mai. We saw the Silver Temple, Wat Suan Dok and a national park which were all amazing!

In July we explored Chiang Rai again and stayed in the amazing Anantara Hotel! I also explored a lot of Chiang Mai with a friend, I even did a cooking class which was great! It was also my birthday and we moved house again to my favourite one yet! Skye and I went our separate ways in July also but I decided to stay in Thailand until my parents came out in September.

In August I started creating my Halloween looks because I had a lot of spare time. I also explored the city on my own and sunbathed a loooooot! At the end of the month I went and got two beautiful tattoos to remind me of my time in Thailand.

In September my family finally arrived for their holiday. We spent some time in Chiang Mai before I had to say goodbye and stayed in Phuket for a while. We got some good weather eventually and had an amazing time on the island. We then spent a few days in Bangkok before flying all the way home together. It was bittersweet leaving Thailand because it had been my home for 20 months but I was excited to get on with my life at home. I settled in really quickly too!

I did my Halloween looks everyday in October and this was my favourite year yet! I also went watching a show called &Juliet, twice, which was an amazing show! I also met someone that’s become very special to me!

In November I signed up to an exciting new business and started my training. I also went to Belgium for a week to visit my friend and had an amazing time. We drove to Amsterdam too which was great! She came back to England with me for a week and we took her to Blackpool and stayed overnight in a caravan in Wales!

Unfortunately early December my Great Grandad passed away. He was the ripe old age of 102 and lived an incredible life but it was sad to see him go.

I also passed my exam for my new business so I am now an Independent Travel Agent! This means I can book holidays for people, and myself, and earn my own commission back off it! It’s perfect for me who loves travelling and now I can also help other people book their dream holidays. I’ve already booked my first trip, which I’ll get commission back from, making it even cheaper for me! I also did some Christmas makeup which I really enjoyed!

And then it was Christmas and New Year. I had a really nice time with my family and friends and got spoilt by everyone!

And now it’s 2020 and I can’t wait to see what the year ahead of me has to offer! 2019 was complex and had some of the highest and lowest moments of my life but I’m grateful for everything that happened and wouldn’t change a thing!

Exciting things to come so stay posted!

Stay Happy!
